BLOOM FESTIVAL.png

PHOENIX PARK, DUBLIN.

A highlight of the Irish horticultural year, a great coming together for garden designers, flower growers, landscapers, plantaholics, garden-furniture makers, food makers and anyone who simply likes to garden.

Last year it had almost 120,000 visitors; this year’s visitors can see 22 show gardens. Now in its 14th year, Bloom has become one of Ireland’s largest showcases celebrating the best of Irish horticulture, food and drink.

Originally created to promote plants, garden design, horticulture and gardening, Bord Bia’s role in promoting food and drink has allowed Bloom to develop further.

The show has grown into something which not only makes for a great day out, but also offers a huge range of practical information on everything from gardening, to growing fruit and vegetables, cooking and culture.

Silverstream Handcrafted Landscapes were named the winner of the first-ever ‘Best Contractor’ award at Bord Bia’s Bloom Festival.  A second-generation family company, they have been developing many award winning garden projects for a number of years at Ireland's favourite horticultural showcase, including a best large Show Garden in 2018 – the ‘Sustainable Seafood Garden’ sponsored by Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM).

In the same year, they were also contractors on the best medium garden winner – the Enable Ireland Beyond Boundaries Garden in association with Solus Light Bulbs as well as the Marie Keating Foundation Sunsmart Garden.
